During DCD Awareness Week, staff and students from the University of Cape Town’s Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences partnered with Christene Revel Children’s Home to raise awareness about Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). Through engaging, play-based activities and educational interactions, the team provided children, caregivers, and staff with opportunities to learn about DCD and its impact on everyday participation, learning, and development. The initiative aimed to promote early recognition, increase understanding, and foster inclusive environments where children with DCD can thrive.
