About DCD SA
We established this group to increase awareness of Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), as many people are unfamiliar with it. Our mission is to promote understanding, offer resources, and support individuals and families affected by DCD. We are dedicated to building a community that recognises the challenges and successes associated with this condition. Through advocacy, education, and shared experiences, we strive to empower those impacted by DCD while fostering understanding and acceptance within society.

Increase understanding of Developmental Coordination Disorder across South Africa through education and advocacy.
Promote Early Identification
Advocate for earlier recognition, assessment, and access to evidence-based support for children and adults with DCD.
Support families and professionals
Provide trusted resources, practical guidance, and a supportive community for families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
